Position Summary:

Facilities Management & Planning is responsible for the care and maintenance of over 5.5 million square feet of academic, research, residential, administrative & athletic facilities, on a 432 acre urban campus. Join our team as a Maintenance Operations Mechanic!

Performs analysis/troubleshooting and semi skilled work on the maintenance and repair of a 450,000 square foot building and the associated equipment/systems. Such work will involve preventive maintenance of the building and associated equipment. Position involves overseeing inventory and responding to building alarm systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Five years experience analyzing/troubleshooting office building alarms.
Five years experience in commercial office and research lab maintenance.
Three years experience working with automation systems.
Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
Valid drivers license and be insurable by the University, which includes maintaining a low risk driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

Current licensed boiler operator
Current licensed electrician
