Position Summary:

Responsibilities will include:
Coordinate site visits to affix identification tags to sponsor funded and owned capital assets; compile pertinent asset information; complete data entry in Banner Fixed Assets system; and assist with maintenance of records of capital assets at subcontractor facilities and alternate sites.

Reconcile inventory campaign results, maintain annual inventory campaign schedules, and reconcile University equipment transactions.
Assist with ad hoc projects including acquiring, organizing and analyzing data and relationships to inventory management and accounting systems and identifying improvement opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or related field with 2 years related experience OR Associates degree in business plus 4 years inventory management experience OR 8 years inventory management experience.
Ability to read and speak English.
Attention to detail with a critical degree of process accuracy.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Effective interpersonal skills, customer service, time management, organization and problem solving skills .
Experience with ERP and eProcurement systems and inventory management hardware & software.
Proficiency with MS Office suite, Outlook, and Excel in particular.
Valid US driver's license with low risk driving record.
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
Due to the requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. Federal Government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

5 years experience with Federal Government property administration.
NPMA certification.
Demonstrated experience with data analytics.
Experience with Federal Government's PIEE module. Applied experience with Banner ERP and Fixed Assets module.
Experience with Costpoint project management system.
