The Mental Health Therapist will provide individual, group, family, and crisis counseling to the student's in the schools served. The Therapist will be responsible to teach a Social and Emotional program to all the classes in the assigned school. Assisting principals and education staff in the best ways to handle challenging behavior.
- Master's Degree in Counseling or Social Work, with licensure in the state of Ohio - LPC or LSW- Minimum of 3 years mental health treatment experience with school age children- Experience working in diverse cultures- Valid driver's license with low risk driving record
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor or Licensed Independent Social Worker- Mental health counseling experience in a K-12 school setting- Knowledge of Catholic schools and their culture- Demonstrated successful experience working independently and productively- Demonstrated successful experience working as part of a team- Successful demonstration of flexibility in day-to-day activities- Demonstrated successful experience building and sustaining relationship and partnerships with school staff and community
