The Assistant Director of Organizational Development manages the entire lifecycle of student organizations, from official recognition to event management. This position is responsible for advising student groups and their leaders on event registration, risk management, and university policies. The Assistant Director also maintains the official student organization database, develops a comprehensive training curriculum for student leaders, and serves as a behavioral resolution officer. This role reports to the Senior Associate Director of Leadership and Organizational Development.

Minimum Qualifications:

Masters degree in College Student Personnel, Higher Education, or related field
Two years experience in Student Affairs
Ability to plan, organize, and implement campus programs
Mastery of written and oral communication
Openness and willingness to work in a Catholic, Marianist educational environment
Experience working with student organization issues surrounding risk management and event planning
Experience working with assessment and student learning outcomes
Experience or exposure to the student conduct process

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds
Experience advising high risk events
Experience with adjudicating student conduct cases
Demonstrated experience with interdepartmental collaboration
