| The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Administration/Sports Management, Kinesiology or a related field or foreign education equivalent. The candidate must demonstrate the following: experience coaching and recruiting successful basketball programs at the NCAA Division I level and commitment to leadership, sportsmanship and academics; ability to comply with all laws, policies, rules and regulations governing the NCAA and Atlantic 10 Conference; classroom teaching experience at collegiate level; experience as a previous Division I student-athlete; and ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. Domestic travel to various locations will be required up to 5% of the time to coach games/tournaments, and recruit quality student athletes at the Division I level. International travel will occur 1 or 2 times over a 5 year period to coach games/tournaments, and recruit quality student-athletes at the Division I level. |
