Position Summary:

University Marketing and Communications is looking for an inquisitive marketing professional who can strategically place our digital advertising campaigns, monitor performance and make recommendations to maximize impact. The Digital Marketing Strategist will help the University Marketing and Communications team enhance the national reputation of the University. The position works collaboratively with others to execute, monitor and optimize the institution's marketing plan.

In partnership with colleagues on the University Marketing team and across campus, the Digital Marketing Strategist places, monitors and optimizes digital advertising campaigns (retargeting, geotargeting, social media, paid search, CTV, etc.) to ensure they reach, engage and persuade target audiences. This position manages digital marketing content in support of University initiatives, assesses emerging opportunities, identifies benchmarks for determining effectiveness, analyzes results, and recommends and implements new strategies to achieve goals.

The Digital Marketing Strategist reports to the Executive Director of University Marketing. Hybrid work arrangement is available (three days per week on campus in Dayton, Ohio; two days per week remote).

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree.
- 2+ years experience implementing, monitoring and optimizing digital marketing campaigns (e.g., social ads, display ads, Google AdWords, IP targeting, audio ads, connected TV, etc).
- Time management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective written communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

- Experience benchmarking, measuring and analyzing results of marketing campaigns.
- Knowledge of Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Demonstrated ability to generate innovative solutions to marketing and communication challenges.
- Ability to form insights, identify trends and develop recommendations based on data.
- A commitment to inclusion and experience working with socially and culturally diverse communities.
- Knowledge of and sensitivity to a Catholic, Marianist work environment.
