Position Summary: Join the thriving Honors team at UD working closely with high-achieving, talented undergraduate students! The University Honors Program (UHP) Program Coordinator coordinates events where prospective and current students learn about the opportunities provided through the Honors student experience, such as “Honors Student Welcome,” “Signature Program Showcase,” Resource Fairs at New Student Orientation, and registration information sessions. Leading the Honors Student Advisory Council and working with Honors student employees, the Program Coordinator will develop co-curricular programming and social activities for UHP to foster identity, community, and engagement within the program. The position’s responsibilities include coordinating the application and selection process for Honors signature programs including Chaminade Scholars, Global Flyers, and Cordell Hull fellowships. The Program Coordinator leads the Dublin Flyers program, working with external agencies, and supporting students in the program. The Program Coordinator will also be responsible for communicating with various constituents, including prospective students, current students, campus partners (such as Student Transitions and Family Programs), and alumni through social media and the UD web-based learning management system Canvas. Collaborating with Housing and Residence Life, the Program Coordinator oversees the Honors Special Interest House, and supports Honors Living Learning Communities.
Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree;
* Evidence of effective written communication skills;
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, as well as the use of Google docs and Google forms;
* Experience developing relationships and facilitating collaboration with various stakeholders;
* Ability to foster an inclusive environment;
* Experience and success in delivering presentations;
* Experience in organizing events.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

* Master’s degree, or graduate course work, in higher education, college student personnel, or related field;
* Experience mentoring or managing undergraduate students;
* Experience in project management;
* Evidence of effective oral communication skills;
* Evidence of effective collaboration and teamwork;
* Experience in event planning, including promotion efforts;
* Familiarity with communications applications, including social media platforms;
* Knowledge of, or willingness to engage with, Catholic and/or Marianist educational values;
* Experience in the development and implementation of experiential learning opportunities for undergraduate students.
