Position Summary: |
Join the University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI) and become part of one of the nation's top 10 university-affiliated research institutes! We're seeking a dynamic Project Analyst to drive innovation in our cutting-edge Digital Sector division. The Project Analyst will oversee a variety of Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) contracts from set up through closeout in fast-paced environment.
The analyst will be responsible for submitting deliverables, preparing financial reports, determining resource allocations, and completing financial projections and analyses. The analyst will also be responsible for approving purchases and travel requests against contract budgets. Furthermore, the analyst will be responsible for the management of subcontracts as needed. The analyst will manage the above duties and act as the liaison between the Digital & Systems Engineering Sector primary investigator and UDRI administrative offices. The analyst will have direct communications with AFRL customers and are expected to provide outstanding customer service through one-on-one interactions and group meetings as required.

Minimum Qualifications: |
-Bachelors Degree in business or technical area -Due to the requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. citizen -Eligible to obtain secret clearance -Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat -Exhibit excellent written communication skills, attention to detail, and thoroughness -Proven ability to collaborate with others and complete objectives within a timely manner -Ability to manage several projects at a time and maintain deadlines -Ability to create and sustain financial reports -Capable of extracting data for current and historical analysis -Ability to prepare spend plans and provide recommendations to maintain program goals -Capable of understanding contract requirements to maintain program goals -Proven ability to maintain a budget and track expenses over time -Exhibit strong critical thinking skills and establish procedures for long-term success

Preferred Qualifications: |
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
-Prior UD/UDRI Experience -MBA -Two years of work experience in program management -Experience managing AFRL prime contracts -Experience working with AFRL RQ customers and programs -Experience with Costpoint ERP System -Proven intermediate experience with Excel -Experience working in a remote environment
