The University of Dayton School of Business Administration invited qualified applicants to apply for our Senior Administrative Assistant for Centers and Operations opening! I
Reporting to the Assistant to the Dean, the Senior Administrative Assistant for Centers and Operations provides high-level administrative, operational, and programmatic support to the School of Business Administration's academic centers, the University of Dayton Center for Leadership, and the SBA Operations Director. This position plays a key role in coordinating student programs, educational events, travel, purchasing, financial and operational processes, and administrative services that support faculty, staff, students, and external partners.
The position serves as a central resource for multiple departments by independently managing complex administrative functions, coordinating logistics for events and experiential learning opportunities, supporting operational initiatives, maintaining compliance with university policies and procedures, and ensuring exceptional service to both internal and external constituents.

| Minimum Qualifications: |
• High school diploma or equivalent. • Three or more years of administrative support experience in a professional setting. • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). • Experience with purchasing and travel systems. • Ability to manage confidential information and prioritize tasks.

| Preferred Qualifications: |
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree. • Experience in higher education administrative services. • Familiarity with Banner, Cognos, Chrome River, and university HR/payroll systems. • Knowledge of university purchasing and travel reimbursement processes. • Experience supporting academic centers or programs.
