UDRI is searching for expertise in several areas of aircraft landing gear engineering. Experience in one or more of the following skills, along with direct landing gear experience, are preferred:
- Structural analysis
- Mechanical design
- Test instrumentation and data processing
- Anti-skid engineering
- DoD logistics planning and supply chain management
- USAF operational, intermediate, and/or depot maintenance, aircraft modification, and/or flight testing
UDRI anticipates being on contract soon and receiving funding to support these initiatives over a several year period.
