The primary role of the Digital Content Specialist (DCS) is to administer UDRI’s internal and external digital presence, while supporting and enhancing UDRI and UD brand recognition. The DCS leverages extensive knowledge of content management systems, SEO and website analytics to create and deliver fresh, compelling and accurate digital content to engage external stakeholders. The DCS also customizes and maintains a SharePoint environment to provide important resource information for internal stakeholders. They must foster and maintain relationships with team members to ensure content is current and accurate. The DCS also supports development, content and/or maintenance of digital assets, including databases, social media accounts, display materials and booths and other communication materials.
The secondary objective of the Digital Content Specialist is a combination of writing and editing technical and creative pieces, web and graphic design, photography and video capture and editing for websites, presentations, tradeshows, conferences, marketing materials, advertisements and other digital communication products. Coordinates with asset owners to ensure timely delivery of products, from conception through development and edits, as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in a relevant field.
2. Three years’ experience in digital content creation or management.
3. Strong communication skills – written, oral, interpersonal.
4. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and foster relationships with internal stakeholders.
5. Exceptional organizational and documentation skills.
6. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, including schedule, budget, and resources, simultaneously and under tight deadline.
7. Demonstrated ability to implement brand in a variety of customized products.
8. Demonstrated experience with Content Management Systems.
9. Demonstrated experience with SharePoint.
10. Demonstrated successful experience in developing web based communication products using HTML.
11. Demonstrated Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Outlook Suite and Adobe Create Suite and Adobe Standard Pro.
12. Due to the nature of the position, U.S. citizenship or Permanent Resident Status is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Demonstrated ability to transform complex information into easy-to-understand and interesting content.
2. Demonstrated experienced in graphic design, photography and video content creation and animation for a range of channels and audiences.
3. Demonstrated experience in graphic design.
4. Demonstrated experience in web design, layout and deployment.
5. Four years’ experience designing and/or customizing SharePoint environments in large organizations.
6. Demonstrated understanding of use and applicability of CMS content types.
7. Demonstrated knowledge of AP style
