Position Summary:       

The YU Global Career Center and Enrollment Specialist provides guidance and support to students in their career development and academic enrollment processes. This position requires an understanding of career services, enrollment procedures, and a passion for helping individuals achieve their professional and educational goals. The Career Center and Enrollment Specialist for YU Global is responsible for supporting all career services and enrollment activities.

A candidate for this position must have excellent communication skills, an appreciation for YU Global’s mission, an understanding of the diverse markets YU Global targets, and familiarity with the demands of a startup initiative.

Position Responsibilities:

Career Center:

  • Guide learners in making informed decisions about their career paths.
  • Build and maintain relationships with recruiters from various industries who can assist in placement of our graduates.
  • Keep learners informed about job openings and recruitment opportunities.
  • Help learners identify the skills, qualifications, and experience needed to secure their desired jobs.
  • Review and provide feedback on learners' resumes, cover letters, and job application materials.
  • Guide learners in effectively utilizing career center resources, including job search databases, career assessment tools, soft skill programs, and online learning platforms, to support their job search and career development.
  • Stay up to date with the latest career resources and tools to ensure learners have access to the most relevant and valuable information.

Enrollment:

  • Respond to inquiries from interested learners.
  • Represent YU Global at recruiting events, promoting its programs and services.
  • Engage with potential learners, employers, and other stakeholders to build awareness and generate interest in YU Global's offerings.
  • Lead phone campaigns to bring prospective learners down the funnel to enrollment.
  • Manage Sales Messaging and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Support the Enrollment Director on projects as they develop.

Experience & Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, admissions, or customer service.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with learners and recruiters.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant career-related software.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and Sundays.

Salary Range:

  • $65,000 - $75,000
