Position Summary:

Yeshiva University High School for Boys (MTA) is looking for a dynamic, caring, organized, knowledgeable and thoughtful Biology and Physics teacher for the 24-25 academic year. This position may be structured as either part-time or full-time.

Position Responsibilities:
|
The science program includes technology and engineering electives, and features a close knit group of colleagues with similar academic interest and experience for collaboration and support.
|
Experience & Educational Background:
|
The ideal candidate will have experience teaching science to high school and will have mastery of educational pedagogy, as well as strong academic knowledge of the science curriculum. The person should have a passion for teaching science and a warm and engaging personality.
We have a strong Science Department, led by our Chair Ms. Megan HLZacks, who has developed a strong culture of teamwork, learning, and collaboration amongst the Science team members.

The ideal candidate will first and foremost be passionate about student growth, and have a warm and engaging personality that can be used in developing meaningful relationships with each student. They will have mastery of educational pedagogy and the subject matter, but will also be strongly motivated by continued opportunities to grow and develop as an effective educator.
