Position Summary: |
Yeshiva University announces its proposed new DDS program and is hiring a new faculty and staff to support the school. The curriculum will integrate Digital Dentistry techniques to be taught by today’s dental thought leaders and master clinicians. The school plans to provide a unique 36 month dental education program through an innovative “Block” style curriculum which will ensures in-depth learning and understanding. The Director of Clinic at Yeshiva University’s dental school will oversee all aspects of clinic operations, ensuring an efficient, patient-centered environment that supports dental education and high-quality patient care. This role is responsible for managing clinical staff, maintaining regulatory compliance, and optimizing resources to facilitate an effective clinical learning experience for students. Reporting to the Dean, the Director will collaborate with faculty and administrative leaders to support the clinical curriculum and uphold best practices in patient care.

Position Responsibilities: |
- Clinical Operations Management: Oversee daily clinic operations, including patient scheduling, clinical workflows, and resource allocation, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and patient-focused environment.
- Staff Leadership and Development: Supervise and support clinical staff, including dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative personnel; provide training, set performance standards, and foster a collaborative clinic culture.
- Patient Care and Quality Assurance: Establish and monitor standards for patient care, ensuring quality, safety, and satisfaction; lead quality assurance initiatives to continuously improve clinic outcomes.
- Regulatory Compliance and Safety: Ensure clinic operations comply with federal, state, and institutional regulations, including OSHA and HIPAA standards, to maintain a safe, compliant environment.
- Resource and Financial Management: Develop and manage the clinic budget, oversee resource procurement, and ensure the efficient use of clinical supplies and equipment.
- Collaboration with Academic Leadership: Work closely with academic leaders to support the integration of clinical training into the dental curriculum, providing students with hands-on learning opportunities that meet academic standards.
- Data Collection and Reporting: Oversee clinic data collection and generate reports on patient care metrics, resource utilization, and operational performance to inform decision-making and strategic improvements.
- Community and Patient Outreach: Engage with community partners and oversee outreach efforts to promote clinic services, expand patient care access, and support community health initiatives.

Experience & Education Background: |
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in clinic management |

- Leadership and Team Management: Proven ability to lead and develop clinical staff, with a focus on fostering teamwork, accountability, and a commitment to patient care excellence.
- Operational Expertise: Strong organizational and operational skills, with experience managing clinical workflows, patient scheduling, and resource allocation.
