Position Summary:

YUHSB is seeking a passionate and dedicated High School History Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in history education and a commitment to fostering critical thinking, analytical skills, and a love for history among students. This role requires engaging lesson planning, effective classroom management, and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment.

Position Responsibilities:
|
- Develop and implement engaging and interactive lesson plans that align with state and national curriculum standards.
- Teach history courses, including U.S. History, World History, and/or other specialized history subjects as assigned.
- Foster an inclusive and dynamic classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, exams, and projects, providing timely feedback.
- Utilize a variety of instructional methods and technology to enhance learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events as required.
