Position Responsibilities:

- Create, organize, and maintain student files, including but not limited to admissions, advisement, official program communications, and progression
- Serve as liaison to the Katz admissions office and assist with or lead the following:
- Prepare and disseminate information to prospective students regarding requirements to enter the Physician Assistant (PA) Program
- Assist with all aspects of the admission process for the PA Program, including answering inquiries from prospective students and processing applications from the Centralized Application Service for the Physician Assistant (CASPA)
- Schedule applicant interviews
- Track the prerequisites of applicants
- Process all documents related to application decisions
- Serve as a liaison by organizing and assisting with prospective student site visits
- Maintain program accreditation documentation in compliance with ARC-PA standards
- Serve as one of the main points of contact for incoming and continuing PA graduate students
- Serve as a backup and provide support to other PA Program Managers, including all duties and responsibilities
- Assist with student course registration and monitor progress towards degree completion, and serve as liaison to all university offices
- Support planning and execution of the health science clinical events such as Interprofessional educational (IPE) activities, student clinical training seminars, and clinical continuing education events (CEU)
- Additionally, assist with orientation, graduation, and white coat events
- Participate in student recruitment and retention-related initiatives
- Assist the department with the management of purchasing requests, classroom requests, conference travel, and faculty reimbursements.
- Prepare and disseminate relevant reports each semester as assigned by the Program Director
- Collaborate and communicate with other health science programs, including occupational therapy, speech language pathology, nursing, and others, as needed
- Participate in ARC-PA accreditation site visits
- Some evening hours will be required, as well as participation in on-campus department and school-wide events
- Complete other duties and tasks as assigned by the Program Director
