Position Responsibilities:

Operational Management
- Manage faculty, students, and office staff day-to-day needs, requests, and data management
- Budget and Finance: Review monthly and annual budget and expense reports for accuracy and precision including purchases, payroll expenses, and account transfers. Overseeing payments and reimbursements incurred as part regular and special activities and programs.
- Events: Manage all logistics and catering for events and programs. Determine needs and priorities for room requests, space planning, IT services, University access accounts, and other shared operational resources with IT and Academic Computing with regard to maintenance of classroom/office technology
- Communications: Create, post, and monitor academic and administrative calendars, revise the catalog as needed each year, communicate with students and faculty, manage occasional print jobs and mail distribution, and maintain the website. Take notes at faculty meetings and send reminders for action items.
- Act as liaison to faculty, staff, university departments and vendors
- Continuously review and streamline school processes to ensure alignment with Yeshiva University Schools
- Supervision of one or more direct reports
HR Management
- School representative for hiring, promotion, termination, salary adjustments and performance management processes. This includes creating job requisitions, working with HR to follow up with applicants, and handling onboarding of new faculty and staff.
- Searches: work with search chairs to schedule logistics surrounding the campus visit.
- Review and approve timecards for staff or student employees as needed. Onboard and follow up with student employees and Teaching Assistants.
Academic Management
- Oversee and manage admissions from initial inquiry through admit, onboarding, registration, and orientation. New Courses – Support deans and faculty in preparing certificate programs, new course forms, and course offering lists. Work with faculty to ensure course lists are accurate and up-to-date.
- Monitor Scholarships – Process all scholarships and financial aid awards.
- Work closely with Dean to ensure faculty complete grades each semester and submit forms for incomplete grades.
- Degree completion – Process applications and monitor student progress towards degree completion.
