Yeshiva University announces its proposed new DDS program and is hiring new faculty and staff to support the school. The curriculum will integrate Digital Dentistry techniques to be taught by today’s dental thought leaders and master clinicians. The school plans to provide a unique 36-month dental education program through an innovative “Block” style curriculum, which will ensure in-depth learning and understanding. Please join this new and innovative proposed DDS program.
The Director of Educational Technology and Training provides leadership for the oversight, implementation, and faculty development associated with instructional technology platforms at the Yeshiva University College of Dental Medicine (YUCDM). The role ensures that educational technology effectively supports the block curriculum model and that faculty are trained, calibrated, and able to independently manage instructional content and assessments. The Director oversees learning management, assessment, and instructional platforms, including Canvas, ExamSoft, and other approved technologies, and works closely with academic leadership and block course directors to ensure consistent, accurate, and policy-aligned use.
A primary responsibility is the design and delivery of faculty training and development programs that support faculty self-sufficiency in course management, instructional delivery, and assessment administration. While the Director provides training, consultation, and oversight related to educational technology, academic ownership and responsibility for course content and ongoing management remain with each block course director.
