Position Summary: The Campus Life Coordinator will be a hands-on team member who will serve as the first point of contact for multiple departments under the Dean of Students office, ensure the orderliness of office operations, and provide basic support to Administrators. The Coordinator will be available to help support students, problem-solve challenges as they arise, and maintain the highest possible standard of customer service. They will gain competencies in the following areas: leadership skills, communication skills, teamwork, program execution, organizational management, event planning, marketing, and problem solving. A position in our office provides an opportunity to gain valuable professional skills, working with great people in a fast-paced, fun environment.
Position Responsibilities: 
  • Serve as the first point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and visitors within the Dean of Students Office.
  • Provide administrative support to multiple departments under the Dean of Students Office.
  • Assist students with questions, concerns, and referrals to appropriate campus resources.
  • Maintain the organization and day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
  • Answer phone calls, monitor shared email accounts, and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate office communications, schedules, and departmental logistics as needed.
  • Support the planning, promotion, and execution of student programs, events, and initiatives.
  • Assist with marketing efforts, including creating promotional materials and maintaining departmental communications.
  • Manage data entry, recordkeeping, and other administrative tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across campus to support student engagement and campus life initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot issues and help resolve challenges that arise in a professional and student-centered manner.
  • Maintain the highest standards of customer service while interacting with students, families, faculty, staff, and external constituents.
  • Support special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.
Experience & Education Background:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Preferred candidates will have strong familiarity with Yeshiva University student services.
  • Yeshiva University graduates are strongly preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a busy, front desk, service-oriented setting.
  • Competency with technology.
  • Graphic design experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel strongly preferred.
Salary Range: $27.50 - $32.97 per hour
