Principal Project Manager VP Admin Services/CASO Wilf Campus, 500 West 185th Street, NY, NY
The Principal Project Manager (PPM) will have significant project management experience, including managing other Project Managers. The PPM drives all aspects of planning, design, construction, and stakeholder management for large- and small-scale projects assigned to the Project Management Office across Yeshiva University’s New York City campuses. The PPM will be responsible for projects from inception through delivery and project closeout, including defining project scope, developing budgets and schedules, writing RFPs, negotiating contracts with consultants and contractors, tracking costs and timelines, leading project meetings with cross-functional teams, and providing status reports to stakeholders, and turn over of final record drawings (or as-builts) and attic stock to Facilities. The PPM will also continuously monitor projects to reduce potential risks, escalating scope (scope creep), budget, and schedule issues as appropriate. This role reports to the Senior Capital Projects Director in the Project Management Office and will collaborate with staff in University Operations, Information Technology Services, Institutional Advancement, and other departments throughout the University to achieve project goals. The Assistant Registrar for the manages all functions associated with student academic records, including but not restricted to: registration, course scheduling, and institutional record keeping, degree audit and conferral, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of student and institutional records, compliance with all relevant state and federal laws and regulations, and reporting to relevant institutional stakeholders. The Director serves as the primary liaison to the University’s central Marketing and Communications department, ensuring alignment with institutional brand, messaging and priorities.
