The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law is a leader in legal education, located in Manhattan's Greenwich Village.  The law school is renowned for its program in intellectual property, which includes the FAME Center for Fashion, Arts, Media and Entertainment Law.  Cardozo Law has a long tradition of pubic advocacy and is the birthplace of the Innocence Project and the home of our Center for Rights and Justice.  Cardozo offers a world-class faculty and encourages creative thinking and innovation in the legal  profession. Position Responsibilities:

Assistant Professor of Law teach law school courses, work on faculty governance issues through committee work, advises student organization and publications, and engage in research and writing in their chosen area of study geared towards publications of high-quality work that evinces a significant  contribution to scholarship and a commitment to continue to publish scholarly works.

Experience & Educational Background:

J.D. required
Prior experience in law and/or teaching a plus

Skills & Competencies:

Assistant Professors must be able to communicate complex legal issues clearly , collaborate with faculty, assist students, and engage in substantial research and writing .
