Position Summary:

The Katz School at Yeshiva University is seeking instructors to teach freshman- and sophomore-level courses in the university’s AS in Management program. We are looking for instructors who have a track record of teaching excellence, experience with project-based learning, and experience working with students with different abilities, levels of preparation, and cultural backgrounds – preferably in a community college setting.
This is a pool posting. We welcome applications from candidates qualified to teach in any of the following areas:
- Business Algebra; Statistics; Information Systems; Introduction to Data Science
- Micro and Macro Economics
- Foundations of Financial Accounting
- Introduction to Business; Managing in the Global Environment; Ethical and Legal Environments of Business
- Organizational Behavior; Human Resources
- Speech Communication; First Year Writing; Business Communication
- College Experience (experiential/field-based courses) in: NYC Business Environment; Entrepreneurship in NYC; Arts and Culture in NYC

Position Responsibilities:
|
- Develop and teach primarily freshman- and sophomore-level courses to a diverse student population.
- Collaborate with program faculty on curriculum design.
- Participate in regular faculty meetings, ongoing curriculum development, and faculty training initiatives.
- Communicate regularly with program director and advisement team regarding student support needs.

Experience & Educational Background:
|
- Experience teaching freshman- and/or sophomore-level courses.
- Experience developing and teaching collaborative, project-based curricula.
- Experience using evidence-driven pedagogies and instructional practices.
- Demonstrated commitment to a learner-centered environment.
- High energy level, enthusiasm, and interest in helping and supporting students and colleagues.
- Superior classroom management skills.
- Master’s degree in related field required.
