Position Summary:

Wurzweiler is seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor who can teach effectively in the areas of Generalist Practice, health/behavioral health/aging/social work and the military. This is an exciting position that will challenge the candidate to join a multicultural social work program in New York City, where colleagues teach, research and publish together and strive for excellence under the Yeshiva University banner.

Experience & Educational Background:
|
A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited social work program and a DSW or a Ph.D. in Social Work or a doctoral degree in a related field; strong potential for excellence in teaching (classroom and on-line), and an ability to teach research (quantitative, qualitative, statistics and practice research). The candidate must articulate a clear, focused research agenda with plans for external funding. University teaching experience and a record of scholarly publications and successful grant activity, a demonstrated commitment to working with a thriving and diverse MSW/PhD student body and a faculty who values faculty governance and community partnerships.
