Position Summary:

Prepare food items, outgoing orders and serve food to customers.

The schedule for this position is: Monday - Wednesday 1pm - 9pm; Thursday 1pm - 9pm; Friday 1pm - 11:15pm

Position Responsibilities:

  • Wash dishes and/or pots
  • Assist cooks (meat/dairy) as directed
  • Maintain high level of sanitation in immediate area
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Experience & Educational Background:

  • High School Diploma is required
  • 1-2 years of related experience is required
  • NYC Food Handler Certification preferred
  • Knowledge of Kosher dietary laws is preferred

Skills & Competencies:

  • Good organization skills
  • Must be able to handle food according to established sanitary guidelines
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Speaks to clients and colleagues in a respectful and thoughtful manner
