Job Summary:

The ECC Math Lab Attendant will greet the students as they come into the Math Lab and will ensure that the log-in sheet is completed properly by those students. They work with the Faculty Facilitators to ensure the Math Lab is kept in order and is clean. They will ensure a friendly and courteous atmosphere in the Math Lab.  They make sure the students who use the Math Lab have all of the available materials and equipment they need.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

The Math Lab Attendant will be friendly and outgoing; able to keep detailed records; on time to their assignments; able to use MS Word and MS Excel;proactive to suggest improvements to the Math Lab Director.

Essential Duties:

1. Be on time for your scheduled work.
2. Keep records of visitors.
3. Recommend resources for the Math Lab.
4. Maintain sign-in/sign-out sheets.
5. Keep all materials organized & secure.
6. Monitor use of computers & printers.
7. Notify the Math Lab Director of any needs or problems.

Other Duties:

Be friendly and considerate to anyone in the Math Lab. The Math Lab Attendant is the face and voice to the student and faculty customers.
