| Elgin Community College seeks to hire a lab coordinator to support our 2D Art and Design labs which include drawing, painting, screen printing, printmaking, and graphic design. The coordinator provides support to assigned full-time faculty to ensure supplies are organized and equipment and facilities are ready for student and faculty use. In addition, the lab coordinator collaborates with Director and faculty assigned to establish and implement lab protocols providing safe, clean and effective learning environments. The lab coordinator may complete routine equipment maintenance and testing when needed and troubleshoot common technical issues. The coordinator also trains and delegates tasks for student workers in addition to assisting enrolled students during open lab hours. |
