Job Summary:

Student worker will assist the department’s Administrative Assistant in completing key office support functions.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Attention to detail; willingness to ask questions; ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Basic skills with Microsoft Word and Excel and/or Google apps; prior experience working in office environment

Essential Duties:

1. Assisting with records management

2. Answering phones; greeting guests
3. Assisting with events/activities preparation

4. Assisting with mailings/other outreach to participants

Other Duties:

Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

Sedentary (up to 10 lbs occasionally, sitting most of the time)

Visual Acuity:

Close visual acuity (e.g. computer, assembly)

Work Environment:

Moderate noise
