You’ll translate complex science into clear, compelling advocacy—writing policy briefs, reports, and outreach materials that shape decision-making. Engage with member stories and legislative campaigns, help organize high-impact webinars and Town Halls, and support training for Congressional Visits Day—preparing materials that reach Hill offices and empower over 80 advocacy visits annually. Collaborate on coalition efforts and new policy education programs, assist with outreach projects, and prepare position statements that drive public policy.
We’re seeking proactive, detail-oriented students with a solid background in agronomy, soil science, crop science, environmental studies, or related disciplines. Excellent communication, research, and organizational skills are a must, as you’ll distill technical topics for diverse audiences and support fast-paced advocacy and member engagement. This paid position offers 20 flexible hours weekly on-site at our Fitchburg, WI or DC office.
