As noted, the hours and days can be flexible, but generally around the 8am-3pm timeframe.  We are hoping to find someone who can help provide childcare throughout the school year and potentially summer.  There may be oppotunity for additional hours.  We are hoping to have someone start by the end of August or early September.

We are searching for a responsible individual to help take care of two daughters (toddler and one year old) during the work week.  My wife and I both have flexible work schedules and will be in and out of the house during the day.  The childcare will have to provide their own means of transportation to and from our house in the Nakoma Neighborhood (~15-20 minutes from downtown).  Generally, we are looking for someone to entertain and help care for our daughters 4-5 days for about 5-7 hours/day, depending on availability.  The hours and days can be flexible but ideally are in the 8am to 4pm range.  In addition, sporadic nights or weekend days may be available for extra hours.  Our daughters are very easy going, smiley, and enjoy going on walks, the park, and playing in the living room or backyard.  Our toddler goes to preschool M/W/F until 12:30pm and comes straight home for a nap so those days would just be revolved around taking care of our two year old.  Finally, we have a very friendly and gentle 6 year old golden retriever.  

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and provide meals/food/milk
• Play/read/entertain 
• Change diapers
• Wash dirty bottles and dishes
• Put down for naps
• Wash and put away her laundry 
• Change clothes
• Basic cleanup and organization of play areas
• Let dog out

Requirements:

• Dog friendly
• Experience taking care of children
• Good hygiene practices (in regards to preparing food and cleaning)
• Attentive, patient, and able to keep our children engaged, entertained, and active
• Able to provide transportation to and from our home
• Available ~16-28 hours/week
• CPR certified and additional certifciations a plus
