Position Summary/Job Duties:

We are seeking someone with a fair amount of babysitting experience to keep tabs on our two boys (aged 15 and 14 by the time summer rolls around), three days a week (Wed-Fri) while they're off on summer break (June 11 - late August). We’re at that strange age where the boys mostly need chauffeurs (and someone to cut them off from their phones and computers when they’re home).

The eldest will likely spend most of his time at a local public golf course, or needing to be ferried to and from a part time job (fingers crossed). And the youngest may need to be driven to friends, or a job (second set of fingers crossed), and occasionally entertained / steered away from his computer.

We mostly need someone to hold down the fort, have a general sense of where the kids are, and entertain our dog. There'd be mild housekeeping responsibilities (essentially ensuring the house isn't trashed when we get home), and haranguing the boys to pick up the messes they create throughout the day. Ideally, you'd be CPR certified (just in case), though that's not a deal breaker. You must, though, be comfortable around water (in ground pool out back), a non-smoker, and have your own transportation. We also have a couple low maintenance cats, and that sweetheart of a dog.

Starting pay around $20/hr. A familiarity with soccer would be a huge bonus for our youngest, but is by no means a requirement. If this might be a fit for you, give us a shout.
