Meetings 2-3 hours weekly to prep for the camp.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic student intern to join our dynamic team. This internship is designed for high school or college students interested in pursuing a career in robotics, engineering, teaching or a related STEM field. Interns will work gain valuable hands-on experience, and develop technical skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare for the STEM robotics.
  • Teach the STEM class, and assist with classroom project setup and wrap up.
  • Support the assembly and maintenance of robotic hardware, including sensors, motors, and control systems.
  • Program and debug microcontrollers, sensors, and other robotics-related software
  • Work with CAD software to design parts and components for robotics systems (e.g., SolidWorks, TinkerCAD, AutoCAD).
  • Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and solve technical challenges.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, and team meeting

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • High school or college student enrolled in a STEM program (Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, etc.)

    • Strong interest in robotics, automation, or related fields.

  • Skills & Experience:

    • Basic understanding of robotics concepts and components (e.g., motors, sensors, actuators).

    • Familiarity with programming languages

    • Knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360) is a plus, but not required.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

    • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Desirable Qualities:

    • Passion for STEM and technology.

    • Willingness to learn and tackle new challenges.

    • Enthusiasm for hands-on work and experimental design.

    • Previous experience in robotics clubs, competitions (e.g., FIRST Robotics, VEX), or related extracurricular activities is a plus.

Physical Demands

Light lifting of robotics boxes/tool kits (around 40 pounds)
