Schedule
Monday to Friday 8 a.m to 12 p.m CST or 12:30 p.m to 4:30 p.m. Periodic check-ins may be scheduled with Education staff.

Position Summary / Job Duties
The intern will support the Education Department in revising multiple-choice quiz questions from the online courses that the societies have. The project involves reviewing approximately 200–230 quiz questions, revising them for clarity and accuracy, rewriting answers (one correct, three incorrect), and identifying outdated or unnecessary questions for removal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rework and update quiz questions provided in Excel format
- Use online module PDFs as references for revisions
- Write one correct and three plausible incorrect answers per question
- Identify and document questions recommended for deletion with rationale
- Submit revised questions in batches for interim feedback
- Deliver final Excel file with all revisions by end of August
Qualifications
- Undergraduate or graduate student (or recent graduate) in agronomy, soil science, crop science, or related field
- Strong written communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with assessment design or editing is a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Subject matter expertise in Soil and Water Management (preferred)
- Familiarity with other domains such as Nutrient Management, Pest Management, or Crop Management is beneficial
- Attention to detail and accuracy in scientific communication
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and comfort working with spreadsheets
Physical Demands
- This position is onsite and sedentary in nature
- Must be able to work on a computer for extended periods
