Husband and wife of 50 years. Husband is a civil engineer and veteran, and wife is a former healthcare professional. Caregiver assistance is for the wife only.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Looking for a live-in care giver to help me with my wife who is 77 and is bed-ridden due to MS.  This position would come with reduced or free rent or room and board depending on the amount of help that could be given.  Tri-level home has a lower level with private bedroom, family room and bath. The times help needed would be occasional mornings from 9 AM to 1 PM, early evenings and an occasional a total week day or a weekend day with advance notice and planning.  

My wife needs help eating, drinking, taking her pills and mainly companionship.  We are getting Meals on Wheels at noon. Some light cleaning also included. Presently I take care of her personal needs, but I would like to teach someone who is willing to take care of these personal needs also.  Hospice does a bed bath once a week and also exercises once a week.
