Position Summary/Job Duties:

We are looking for a reliable, regular babysitter for our sweet, self-sufficient 8 year old son at our home on the far East side of Madison during the school year (September-May) for about 2 full weeks per month. Weeknights are usually 6:00-10:00, Saturdays 6:30-10:30 and Sunday afternoons 1:30-5:30. A list of all dates are available now, and we prefer you to be available for a majority of the dates. I am willing to split dates with another sitter if needed. Duties include supervising play until about 7:15, then guiding a bed time routine. You would be free to do homework, read, watch TV, etc after he is in bed. It is a super-easy job - great for a student or someone wanting to earn some extra money! It is best if you have your own transportation. We are a half a block off the C1 line, but the bus takes about 40 minutes from downtown. We also have a small young dog. If interested, please email me your childcare experience (aszczys@gmail.com). I will send you a list of dates to verify availability. Thanks!

Qualifications:

Childcare experience (babysitting, camp, siblings, etc). Must like pets and not be allergic! Reliable, responsible, able to arrive on time.

Application Instructions:

Please email me (aszczys@gmail.com) with information on you and your childcare experience. Please also include a reference. I will email you back a list of dates to verify you are available for most. Then we can schedule a time to meet our family so you can make sure this will work for you!
