This position offers flexible part-time hours between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, making it easy to work around your class schedule. Shifts are scheduled in 3-hour minimum time blocks, with total weekly hours ranging from 12 to 30.

After a successful probationary period, evening and weekend hours may also be available for those who prefer alternative schedules. For students seeking more hours, full-time work may be available during winter and summer breaks, providing an excellent opportunity to gain additional experience and income while school is out.

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented students to join our team as Part-Time 3D Printing Technicians. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge 3D printing technology while working for an innovative company in the life sciences sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models for functional parts and prototypes

• Operate and maintain various 3D printers to ensure consistent, high-quality output

• Perform post-processing and finishing on printed parts (e.g., sanding, smoothing, painting)

• Document printing settings, results, and part performance for internal records

• Collaborate with engineering and production staff to improve designs and printing processes

• Preparing tubing in a cleanroom for use in tubing manifold assemblies

• Comfortable using both Windows and iOS software for everyday tasks and applications.

• Some experience with 3D or solid modeling software (such as SolidWorks or Fusion 360) is preferred, but we’re happy to help you learn.

• An interest in how things work and a willingness to get hands-on with tools, machines, and materials.

• Able to follow instructions carefully while also taking initiative and working independently when needed.

• Good attention to detail to make sure parts and projects come out right the first time.

• Clear communication skills to share ideas, ask questions, and work well with the rest of the team.
