Position Summary/Job Duties:
We are looking for regular care for our 2 dogs (both <15 lbs) on Tuesday mornings from 7 AM until 1:30 PM. This would involve taking the dogs out on a walk twice and general supervision. There may intermittently be a school-aged child home ill from school that would require general supervision, with added pay on those weeks. Base pay would be $25/hour, with additional $10/hour if any child care required. The work would be in our west Madison home (about 2 miles west of Junction Rd Target). Looking for care to begin in October, and prefer candidates able to commit to at least 6 months.
Qualifications:
Prefer a valid driver's license, although not mandatory. Applicant should have basic comfort and skills in working with dogs. We also have 3 cats, so cat allergies may be problematic. Must be willing to undergo criminimal background check (as may be providing some general supervision of young children).
Physical Demands
Light physical labor - taking 2 small dogs for a neighborhood walk
