Alternating Sunday mornings - dates and times pending. Tutoring is scheduled throughout the week as per tutor and student availability.

Position Summary/Job Duties:
Congregation Shaarei Shamayim is hiring Hebrew school teachers and tutors for this coming year beginning in September. Class sessions are on alternating Sunday mornings, and tutoring takes place throughout the week, as tutors' schedules permit. We follow the UW calendar year. Our school meets on a bus line off Monroe Street, and is about a 10 minute bus ride from campus. Tutors may meet with students in mutually-agreed upon central locations or via Zoom.
Teachers and tutors must be great with kids, enthusiastic, creative, responsible, and knowledgeable about Jewish culture and traditions.
This is a wonderful opportunity to gain teaching experience, be part of a dynamic Jewish community, and earn some money at the same time.
Qualifications:
Experience working with children, such as camp counselor, babysitter, teacher, or tutor
Knowledge of Jewish culture and traditions
