Position Summary/Job Duties:

A loving family, residing in the Near Westside Madison area, is looking for afternoon childcare for their three children: 9-years-old, 5-years-old and 4-years-old. Start date is September 2025. We are interested in someone who is well versed in exploring outside, going for walks, hanging at playgrounds, arts and crafts, reading activities for children, and able to incorporate these activities where appropriate.

We hope for someone with childcare experience who is warm, caring, well-organized, open to sharing new adventures with an emphasis on activities and reading. We would like someone who is genuine, dependable, active and positive.

Duties may include picking up the children from school, walking/driving them to activities, snack preparation, imaginative play, outdoor activities and homework help. Our house is walkable/bikeable from campus and from Metro bus stops.

Hours will be Monday: 1:45pm–5:30pm; Tuesday: 3:15pm-5:30pm; Thursday: 3:15pm-5:15pm; potential to add Wednesday to the schedule based on availability.

Pay is $20-$25 an hour, depending on education and experience.

Qualifications:

Previous experience caring for multiple children
