Student Jobs

Two hours weekly or bi-weekly, between 8am to 5pm. Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays are preferred, but can be flexible for the right candidate. 

Solo parent and former professor looking for someone to come by for a couple of hours weekly or bi-weekly to help take care of some routine tasks, so I can have a little more kid-focused time! They grow up so fast and I don't want to miss precious moments. 

Tasks include: folding and putting away laundry; emptying and potentially loading the dishwasher, and using any remaining time for routine tidying like putting toys in baskets, clearing and wiping down kitchen counters, or similar. I will take the time to show you where everything goes and then you would be able to work solo listening to podcasts or music going forward. (Though I do occasionally work from home, I will usually be away). 

The house is professionally cleaned, so you will NOT be expected to do any heavy cleaning, like mopping or scrubbing or anything in the bathroom at all. You will NOT be expected to do childcare, though we are always happy to meet additional babysitters if you are interested. 

You must be reliable, self-starting, have transportation to get to the near west side, and be great at communicating. If you naturally love a clear space, and find it satisfying to help things get there, you would be perfect. 

No previous related experience required. However, a love for organizing and tidy spaces is a must! Related experience while doing other jobs (babysitting, retail etc.) is very welcome.
