Position Summary/Job Duties:

We have 2 children (Benjy 10 and Hudson 7), both are in school from 7:30 am until 2:30 pm . We have had wonderful UW students who help us in the afternoon after school and they have become part of our faimljy. We are looking for a fun loving part time helper, childhood eduator or sitter on TUESDAY and THURSDAY afternoons, and if you are interested, some other early afternoons to walk dogs and do some light housework. We would need help in the afternoons from 2-2:30 to 5 or 5:30 pm, although if you wanted more hours we could also make that work! Responsibilities would include picking both up the 1st grader around the corner, taking them to activities, doing homework, reading, going to the park, feeding them a snack, sometimes assembling dinner. The boys are good listeners and have absolutely adored all of our UW students. We are a kind and low-key family. I work full time as a physician at UW and my husband travels for work.  We have two very sweet small dogs with personality, whom would love a walk if you want more hours. We could also add some laundry or grocery shopping depending on what you need. We are looking for someone who can truly be part of our family. Pay would also be flexible but would start at $22/hour.  If this sounds like a good fit for you, please email me at larkin@dermatology.wisc.edu.

Qualifications:

We would like someone with experience in child care, excellent driver, engaging/interactive with kids.
