We are in search of a fun and caring babysitter for our two children, ages 4 and 9, at our home in Middleton.

Responsibilities: Provide care in our home, which will include activities such as free play, reading, art, outdoor play/walks, and more. Prepare snacks or meals as needed. Help with cleaning any incidental messes and putting away toys used during the course of the shift. Complete bedtime routine if shift is in the evening.

Schedule: 4-6 hours, 1-2 times per month, on either Friday evenings, Saturday evenings, or Sunday afternoons, per agreement between the parents and sitter. Anything beyond these times would be discussed far in advance.

Pay: $17.50-$20 per hour, depending on experience and transportation needs.

Transportation Info: We are a 1.1 mile walk from the nearest R route bus stop, with a section of the walk having no sidewalk. For sitter safety, we would prefer to provide transportation from the bus stop or another location (including UW campus area) if bus or alternative transportation is needed. 

Experience working with preschoolers and school-aged children

Safe driving record and valid drivers license (in case of incidental use of our car)

First Aid/CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain)
