Nanny / House Manager Needed While Mom Travels for Work (Short-Term Stays, 4–9 Nights)
AND/OR
Light nannying during the day to help with house and driving the kids
Location: Far West Madison
Job Type: Part-Time, Live-In (Temporary Stays)
Schedule: As needed – 4 to 9 consecutive nights while mom is away for work trips
About Us:
We’re a warm, busy household looking for a reliable, compassionate, and organized nanny/house manager to stay with our teens and care for our home while mom travels for work. We are a single-parent household with two wonderful teenagers and two lovable, high-energy dogs.
Who You'll Be Caring For:
- Daughter (17): Smart, kind, and navigating life with anxiety.
- Son (14): Bright and funny, on the autism spectrum, with a routine that helps him thrive.
- Two friendly but hyper dogs who love attention and walks.
What We’re Looking For:
- A calm, confident presence who is great with teens and comfortable around neurodivergent kids.
- Someone who can manage the rhythm of the home – simple meals, light tidying, getting the kids where they need to go, and being a supportive adult in the house.
- Must be comfortable with dogs – feeding, letting out, and walks.
- Must be able to stay overnight during travel periods (typically 4–9 nights).
No heavy cleaning but errands, dishes, laundry, dog walks, help with homework etc. you could defiantly do your main job/school while the kids are at school. Would just require flexibility during the days you are watching the kids and the house.
Ideal For:
- A nanny or caregiver with experience in teen care and neurodiversity.
- A teacher, nurse, or mature student with a flexible schedule.
- Someone looking for a few short-term jobs each month.
Pay: Competitive, based on experience. Rate for overnight is different than hourly.
If this sounds like a good fit for you, we’d love to hear from you! Please reply with your background, availability, and a bit about why you think this role would be a match.
