Position Summary/Job Duties:
*REQUIRED* Tuesdays and Thursdays | 2:45 - 5:00 p.m. (2.25 hrs) | Two 2nd graders and a 18-month-old pup
Arrive on time to let our dog out of the kennel, leash her up, and walk her to the bus stop 1 block away to meet the two 2nd graders.
Help prepare afternoon snack for 2nd graders
Communicate with other parents / care providers in neighborhood to arrange play time (as needed)
Provide a fun, engaging afterschool time that emphasizes kindness and belonging
Multi-task (as needed)
Play and facilitate play
NOTE: Our 7th grader will make his own way home at 4:30 p.m. and is self-sufficient -- no care required
Qualifications:
Enthusiasm, joy, patience, balance of firmness and empathy
CPR certified preferred but not required
