Department Overview:

Prairie Music & Arts (PMA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community arts organization, has served the Dane County, Wisconsin area with enriching arts education for 26 years. Programs foster artistic exploration and take place at community centers, schools, and outdoor spaces.

Schedule:

5-10 hours per week. Most hours can be completed remotely, with occasional in-person meetings. There is no set work schedule, but deadlines will be determined at bi-weekly online meetings.

 

Salary/Wage Range:

Hourly $16.00 to $18.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Prairie Music & Arts in Sun Prairie seeks an innovative social media, communications, and marketing intern to manage social media platforms, prepare monthly newsletters, build brand awareness, and monitor SEO. The role will work closely with the executive director.

 

Qualifications:

Ideal applicants will demonstrate experience with a variety of social media platforms and knowledge of marketing strategies. A familiarity with nonprofit priorities, the arts, and afterschool programs is preferred but not required.
