Position Summary/Job Duties:

Due to an upcoming elevator replacement project, that will require patients to enter the clinic on the level of the building where they will be seen, we are seeking friendly, outgoing persons to act as elevator attendants/concierges for approximately 4 weeks. We have patients of all ages and abilities who will need direction and assistance in finding their way into and out of the clinic during this period.

You will meet, greet, welcome, and inform our patients of the construction, and provide directions to and/or assist elderly and handicapped patients as needed in both entering and exiting the facility. You will need to be alert, anticipate, and coordinate with clinic staff about where and when help is needed.

Training: You will have a 1-hour training session, prior to construction start date, with our facilities engineer and clinical operations director who will give you a walk-through of the clinic campus including the best routes in and out of the clinic, where to find wheelchairs, how to utilize walkie-talkies, and how to best greet and assist our patients.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Familiarity with front desk operations is preferred.
  • A compassionate attitude towards patients and their families.
