Position Summary/Job Duties:

*** SHIFTS START AT 12pm AND END AT 2:30pm MONDAY-THURSDAY. YOU DO NOT NEED TO TAKE ALL DAYS BUT MUST BE AVAILABLE FROM 12 TO 2:30 ON DAYS SCHEDULED. THE START/END TIMES ARE NOT FLEXIBLE***

Inclusion Facilitator

Do you want to make a difference in the life of a young child with disability? Are you interested in strengthening your skills in adapting activities, and promoting inclusion in a classroom/childcare setting? This may be the perfect role for you! 

Daily activities/expectations:

Support early childhood education teachers and student by following pre-existing care plan

Facilitate friendships and opportunities for connection between student and classmates 

Adapt activities or try new approaches to support student participation or involvement 

Utilize positive and student-centered practices 

Most importantly - be ready to PLAY! Including paint, water, glue, glitter and all things fun! 

 

We do not require any level of education or experience, but the following will set you up for success!

Respond to messages in a timely manner

Read and adhere to care plan

Ask questions when needed! 

Open to learning, trying new things...

Trusting your own ability to problem solve, finding creative and supportive solutions

Don't be embarrassed to play and get silly! This will help you to establish relationships in the classroom!
