Position Summary/Job Duties:

We're looking for a reliable, energetic, and caring babysitter to help with after-school care for our twin 6-year-old boys at our home on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (approx. 3:00 PM – 5:30/6:00 PM, flexible for the right person) during the school year. Approximate start date: October 2025. We can work around school breaks or other travel plans. 

Our ideal babysitter loves kids, enjoys being active and creative, and is comfortable helping with light household tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Pick-up from school (if applicable – or be home when they arrive)
  • Supervise and play with the boys — indoor and outdoor play (backyard, crafts, reading, games, park visits)
  • Basic literacy and homework support if applicable (first-grade level)
  • Light tidying up after activities/snack (minimal dishes, toys, etc.)

Location:
Near Westside, Madison, WI

We are a warm and welcoming family, and the boys are energetic, funny, and love imaginative play. I am a PA and work downtown and my husband works in IT, mostly from home. If you're looking for a consistent part-time job and love working with kids, we'd love to hear from you!

Qualifications:

Requirements:

Experience working with young children (ages 5–8 ideal)

  • Transportation to/from our home
  • Strong communicator and dependable
  • Non-smoker
  • References available

Nice-to-Haves:

  • CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to get certified)
  • Interest in arts & crafts, reading, or early childhood education
