Position Summary/Job Duties:

Role Overview

We’re looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Marketing Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for a UW–Madison student interested in digital marketing, social media, and community engagement. You’ll help us connect with customers online, grow our brand presence, and support exciting campaigns—including community events and sports partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, schedule, and post engaging content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn).

  • Assist in creating short-form video, graphics, and stories to showcase our services and community involvement.

  • Monitor social channels for engagement and respond to comments/messages.

  • Support event promotion (ex: collaborations with Wisconsin Badger athletes, community charity livestreams).

  • Track performance metrics and provide insights on growth and engagement.

  • Stay on top of trends in social media and recommend creative new approaches.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills and creative writing ability.

  • Familiarity with social media platforms (especially Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook).

  • Interest in content creation (video editing, photography, or Canva/Adobe experience a plus).

  • Self-starter who can work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Enthusiasm for marketing, branding, and community engagement.
