Little Strokes Swim Academy is the Madison area's premier swim school! Our professional instructors set us apart from other learn-to-swim programs. We only hire former competitive swimmers and swim coaches!

Private pool rentals are offered Saturdays from 1-7pm, Sundays from 2:30-7pm, and over breaks throughout the year surrounding holidays. We are open to splitting these hours between 2 lifeguards, and you do not need to work every weekend or every hour of the shift. Lifeguards must be over the age of 18 and have current Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR certifications, as well as have reliable transportation to the pool in Waunakee.

Little Strokes Swim Academy has immediate openings for weekend afternoon lifeguards to supervise private pool rentals from the deck of our shallow, warm, 91° pool. Private pool rentals typically consist of 15-20 adults and children enjoying open swim with our provided pool toys; any children who aren't strong swimmers must wear a life jacket and be accompanied in the pool by an adult. The 28'x48' pool slopes from 3.5' to 4.'5, and beverages can be enjoyed from the deck but we do not allow food in the pool area or locker rooms. The hours for rentals include Saturdays from 1-7pm, and Sundays from 2:30-7pm, and you do not need to work every weekend or every hour of the shift. Responsibilities for the lifeguarding position include supervising the pool and deck, answering questions, and some light cleaning. Current Lifeguarding, CPR and First Aid certifications are necessary, applicants must be over 18 years of age. Enjoy a flexible schedule and free snacks during work!

The pool is located at 1029 Quinn Drive in Waunakee, just outside of Madison and a short drive from the UW, MATC, and Edgewood campuses. The starting pay rate for the right candidate is $20/hour. Children of employees receive free swim lessons.
