Department Overview:
The REALTORS® Association of South Central Wisconsin (RASCW) has been an active trade association for more than 100 years, and is comprised of REALTORS® and Affiliate members providing real estate related services to home buyers and sellers across south central Wisconsin. RASCW has members conducting business from more than 800 offices in 10+ counties throughout the area. The primary purpose of RASCW is to serve its members by providing programs and benefits that assist them to successfully conduct their business with a vision of the future, and with the highest degree of professionalism and cooperation. In addition, RASCW and its members work to protect and promote home ownership and real estate investment throughout south central Wisconsin.

Position Summary/Job Duties:
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and organized Event Planning Intern to assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of our events. This internship offers hands-on experience in event logistics, vendor coordination, marketing support, and on-site event management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in planning and organizing events such as conferences, workshops, fundraisers, or social events
Support event logistics, including scheduling, timelines, and checklists
Coordinate with vendors, venues, suppliers, and our Events Tasks Force
Help manage guest lists, registrations, and attendee communications
Assist with event marketing and promotion (social media, emails, flyers)
Prepare event materials and setup/teardown on event days
Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth execution
Conduct post-event tasks such as surveys, reports, and feedback summaries

Qualifications:
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and work under deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
Familiarity with social media platforms is a plus
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
